Weekly art activities for families @ Lemongrass terrace
Come and find the artist in yourself under the new shades of Lemongrass Restaurant. Every Saturday from 2.00PM Banyan Resort & Golf will have art activities for families. The first gel candle making workshop was a great success. Through this newsletter we will keep you updated about the coming weekly activities.

Splash Noodle Bar
The Splash Noodle Bar will celebrate its official opening next week. Come and try the exciting menu of all sorts of pasta and noodles. From this month we will have regular pasta & movie nights. We hope to welcome you soon in our tropical Splash pool garden.

It has been a diverse month of Public Relations with both personal and professional experiences around the golf club. To begin, both Stuart and I went to the Emirates Golf Club in Dubai for the Omega Dubai Desert Classic 2010, followed by Valentine’s Day and the birth of my daughter Gracie on 16^th February 2010. Banyan Village, Resort and Golf Club’s management celebrated the 60^th Birthday of Hua Hin Vice Mayor Khun Suvit Reinroongrueng at Hua Hin temple on 24^th February 2010. Finally, Banyan Golf Club was exhibiting at the Queen Sirikit Centre from 25^th – 28^th February 2010 at the Thai International Travel Fair in Bangkok.

Omega Dubai Desert Classic 2010
Having previously worked for Emirates Golf Club and Dubai Desert Classic we have always maintained our valued relationship with promoter’s golf in DUBAi and CEO Mr. Mohamed Juma Buamaim over the years who very kindly invited Stuart and I to play in the Omega Dubai Desert Classic Pro Am with Asia and Thailand’s Number One golfer Thongchai Jaidee.  It was a best ball team event and we finished 4 under par on the Majlis golf course that was in immaculate condition for the tournament. We experienced great championship golf to witness Miguel Angel Jiminez beating Lee Westwood in a thrilling sudden death playoff on the 9^th green.  For more information visit www.golfindubai.org

Since the launch of the Banyan condominiums and to eventually make the current membership renewal cycle easier for you in the future we have revised our membership application and renewal process from 1^st January 2010 as follows:-

New Members
Membership subscriptions received before 30th June 2010 will be charged pro rata until 31st December 2010.  Membership subscriptions received after 1st July 2010 will be charged pro rata until 31st December 2011

Renewals
All membership renewal payments will be due in January each year starting from 1st January 2010. Membership renewals due before 30th June 2010 will be charged pro rata until 31st December 2010. Membership renewals made after 1st July 2010 will be charged pro rata until 31st December 2011.

60^th Birthday of Hua Hin Vice Mayor Khun Suvit Reinroongrueng
Members of the management team from Banyan Village, Resort and Golf Club Hua Hin gathered at Hua Hin temple on Wednesday, 24th February 2010 to celebrate the birthday of Hua Hin vice Mayor Khun Suvit Reinroongrueng.

Thai International Travel Fair in Bangkok 2010
Banyan Golf Club, Hua Hin joined Banyan Resort and The Thai Travel Agents Association (TTAA), in collaboration with The Association of Domestic Travel (ADT) and Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), at the Thai International Travel Fair 2010. It is the biggest travel fair in the ASEAN region and aims is to encourage commerce between holidaymakers and travel, hotel and golf operators.

March Social Calendar
Our social calendar of events begins with ‘Club Night’ on Monday, 8^th and 22^nd March 2010 with Trivia Quiz from 7pm, and dinner buffet with happy hour drinks from 6pm to 9pm.  Mother’s day is celebrated on Sunday, 14^th March 2010 across the UK so Banyan Golf Club, Hua Hin decided to host “Family Day” and Brunch on the same day. Children under 12-years can eat for free and activities will include a junior golf clinic and kid’s playtime area. Our popular ‘Golf & BBQ’ at Mulligan’s Pub will be held on Saturday, 13^th March February 2010 for just THB.3,250/- and the Banyan Golf Club’s signature monthly ‘Golf and Wine’ dinner will take place on Saturday, 27^th March 2010 with an afternoon golf tournament followed by a 5-course wine dinner at The Terrace restaurant. THB 3,500/- per person all inclusive, dinner only THB.1,800/-

Surroundings of Banyan
Our project is developing well and even so is the environment of Banyan with a landmark being build opposite our road. The first 'links golf course' in Hua Hin is developing rapidly and will open later this year, which makes Banyan an even better located project than it already was.
